Problem Note 51079: An existing target table's column informat value might not be overwritten when you import a table with a column informat value that is set to (None)
When you import a package that contains a source table with column informat values, the source table's column informat value should overwrite the target table's column informat value. However, the target table's column informat value is not overwritten when you import a source table that has a column informat value of (None) and when both of the following conditions are true:
- The target table already exists.
- The target table's column informat is set to a valid SAS® informat.
The problem does not occur when the source table's column informat is set to a valid SAS informat.
If the target table's column informat value is not overwritten by the source table's column informat value of (None) during the importation process, then you need to change the column informat value for the target table manually.
